1. Summary

One Question (One Question a Day Journal on the App Store) is a private journal. Your entries stay on your devices and in your own iCloud account. We run no server that receives your entries, and we cannot read them. The app sends limited usage data to analytics providers, described in section 4.

2. Your journal

3. Apple Health

Apple Health is off unless you turn it on in Settings. When it is on, One Question saves to Health the time you spent writing an entry, as Mindful Minutes, and your mood, as State of Mind, with what the day was about (like Work or Family), worked out on your device. Your words are never sent to Health, and One Question reads nothing from it.

4. Analytics we collect

We use Firebase (Google) and Amplitude.

These identifiers are random. We do not connect them to your name, email or Apple account.

Their policies: Firebase, Amplitude.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details. We learn only whether a subscription is active, and we record that a purchase screen was viewed or a purchase completed, not who made it.
